I am mature minded, genuine, reliable, honest and hard working. I am my most relaxed, happy and in my element when I’m spending time caring for animals. Horses are my passion as well as dogs, big or small, affectionate or challenging it doesn’t bother me. I will give them all the love and cuddles they can tolerate as well as being confident with standing my ground if necessary!
I’m available for stays between 2weeks to 2months from mid December until the end of February depending on location. After February I will be living in Kwinana and will be happy to look at shorter sits throughout the year if they are within approximately 30min of Cockburn. Please don’t hesitate to message me any queries abouty availability.
I enjoy being outside and can potter around for hours around the stable or barn or watering the garden or going for a walk to the beach or bush or sweeping or just out with horses and whatever other farm animals like goats – I really love goats. And pigs…oh and cuddly ducks and hens and turkeys… and rabbits, guinea pigs…sheep.. cows.. you get the picture! I’m a bit scared of geese lol..
I grew up with horses and was involved in day to day farm life in NZ as a teenager, as well as working with racehorses. Horses have always been my passion. Im confident and capable with as aspects of feeding, rugging, mucking out, waters, general horse duties etc. as well as riding if required.
Property would need to be suitable for myself and my daughter who is 9yrs old and will be with me more than half the time. She is very comfortable with animals and has a natural way with them.
We have a small dog of our own who is pictured in the gallery. She is well trained and friendly with other animals. We would ideally like to have her with us but can probably make arrangements with a friend of ours to care for her depending on the circumstances. We also have a cat who is also pictured, but I realise cats aren’t as portable as dogs so I won’t expect to bring her royal highness!
I can provide work references, personal references, police check, driver’s licence, stable hand licence, first aid certificate etc.
