About
Travelling prevents me from having pets of my own, so the opportunity to care for yours is my joy and privilege.
30 year old Canadian on my 2nd working holiday in Australia. Currently based in Adelaide but willing to travel.
I’ve spent the last 3 years working in property management in the ski town I came from in Canada. I understand how crucial it is to have reliable help to care for your most valuable assets and furry loved ones. I consider it a great honour to be trusted with these responsibilities, and to be able to provide peace of mind for you when you have matters to attend to elsewhere.
I have volunteered with animal rescues both local to me, and internationally, most notably spending several weeks in Thailand supporting the work of Lanta Animal Welfare. I also grew up with freshwater fish, rescue cats and a rescue dog, participating fully in their care until I left for college. I am comfortable and competent with all aspects of canine and feline care, and am more than willing to discuss and educate myself on the care of other pets such as reptiles, amphibians, small mammals and aquatic creatures as necessary.
In addition to providing diligent pet care, I am also an avid indoor plant enthusiast and backyard gardener. The most difficult part of embarking on my travels this time around was parting ways with my thriving collection of indoor plants and the bountiful vegetable garden that my roommate and I had lovingly tended all summer.
I’m currently in the process of buying and building out a custom campervan to explore the West coast in (don’t worry, I have construction space on a friend’s property, so there will be no van builds in your driveway haha). In the meantime, I would be honoured to care for your home, love on your pets, and put my greenthumb to good use so that you can return to find your space better than you left it!
