Hi!

We’re Gemma and Alex – we’re a 29 year old couple from Greater London / Kent in the UK. We gave up our much-loved flat to travel Australia – We landed in mid February, did some travel around Sydney, Melbourne, the Great Ocean Road, and now we’re in Brisbane, ready to settle and start to feel like we’re really living in Oz! My partner has a remote job, so we’re preferably looking for a longer term house sit. We both don’t smoke, and don’t have any children or pets. We’re great with both cats and dogs, but we’re definitely cat people at heart – we understand them and they like us (particularly Alex – we joke he’s a cat whisperer!).

Here’s our experience with house and pet sitting:

We have plenty of experience with pet and house sitting – I have house and pet sat for my aunt’s home and her young cocker-spaniel multiple times while she’s been on holiday. Alex has house sat his family’s mature cats (and rabbit and guinea pigs!) multiple times while they’ve been away too. We together have house & pet sat for our friend Grace’s house and cats, our friend Aileen’s house and cat (mature persian), and also Alex’s grandparent’s bungalow and cats (1 three-legged) before as well. We are both experienced at administering flea treatment and medications to pets. The feedback we’ve recieved has all been positive!

We are both very clean, tidy, and organised (and trustworthy!) people who respect and strive to take care of any sit as if it were our own home.
