Description
Hi there, our names are Evelyn and Gordon, and we are looking for a medium term house sitter for approximately 5 weeks in November/December this year. Our house has 2 storeys, 3 fully furnished bedrooms (2 bedrooms available for sitters), beautiful living areas, and a big backyard with a vibrant veggie patch and an entertainment area.
Our house is located in a prime location within Newcastle City Council, only 25 minutes to the CBD and beaches (quicker on the train), 25 minutes to the Hunter Valley wine region, 45 minutes to Port Stephens, 25 minutes to Newcastle Airport, 25 minutes to Lake Macquarie, and 5 minutes from the M1 Motorway to Sydney. The closest grocery store is only 2 mins away but there is a huge shopping complex/mall/cinemas only 10 minutes away. There is no shortage of stuff to see and do.
We also own some pets which will need to be taken care of and loved while we are away – 7 chickens, 2 casts, 1 lorikeet (lori will probably stay with my parents while we are away), and a native bee hive (self sufficient).
